Academic Misconduct

Here you will find information about the University of Bradford's policy and regulations relating to Academic Integrity and the investigation of Academic Misconduct.

Statement of Integrity

The University of Bradford is committed to upholding the highest standards of academic quality and integrity. Academic integrity involves both individual responsibility and collective commitment and is essential, not only for maintaining the credibility of our awards and programmes of study, but also for ensuring fairness, respect, and trust within our academic community.

All students are expected to take responsibility for their own learning and agree to adhere to the fundamental expectations regarding academic integrity and good academic practice.

The regulation and policy included below outline the University’s expectations with regards to good academic practice and provide a robust, yet supportive, framework for considering academic integrity concerns. The policy aims to ensure that all such concerns are investigated fairly, consistently and in a timely manner, and that all parties are clear on their roles and responsibilities regarding the process.
