Teacher and Advisor CPD Events

Our Outreach and Recruitment Team develop and deliver regular Conferences to update, inform and support Teachers and Advisors.

Our summer conference in July 2023 was a great success. Held on campus for the first time since 2019, attendees enjoyed outreach and recruitment updates, academic CPD sessions and an amazing tapas style lunch!

Feedback from attendees was excellent:

"It was a fantastic day and invaluable to the Careers Adviser role to hear direct from lecturers and students. The ambassadors could not have done a better job of representing the university or their departments" - Leeds City College

"It was very well organised.  The sessions were really informative and clear and left room for questions.  The food was amazing and all the staff were warm and welcoming - excellent day" - St John Rigby College

"I just gained so much insight into and understanding of the different areas of engineering, how they fit together and the opportunities available particularly with the sandwich courses. It was also great to hear from PhD and Masters students in the medical engineering session" - Leeds City College

We are already planning our next conference for summer 2024. Details will be shared when confirmed.
