Selection and interview

BSc (Hons) Nursing (Adult, Child, Mental Health) and MNurse (Adult/Mental Health, Child/Mental Health).

Your interview will take place online and will last up to 15 minutes.

The interview will be based on the NHS Values Based Recruitment Framework. The key information can be found on pages 18, 19 and 20 of the document.

We advise that in preparation for your interview, you spend some time thinking about how the values described in the document relate to you.

To achieve success in your interview, it will be really helpful to think about examples of times in your life when you have demonstrated that you have these values.  This could be at school or college, in a place you have worked or volunteered, or in your personal life with friends and family.

The format of the interview day will include a presentation from lecturers on the programme, followed by a Q&A session with current midwifery students.

There will then be a group exercise facilitated by a midwifery lecturer and observed by an interview panel, consisting of current students, service users, academic staff, and clinicians.

Finally, there will be an individual interview and a tour of the University campus.

All interviews will take place on the University campus, although we will endeavour to offer an online alternative in exceptional circumstances, when requested.

Your interview will take place online and will be 20 minutes. You will be interviewed by two people. One will be a member of our occupational therapy teaching team, plus one more person who could be an occupational therapist from a local NHS Trust, a service-user, a current occupational therapy student, or another member of our teaching team.

You may wish to consult the NHS values, the NHS Staffing Pool Hub, and the Royal College of Occupational Therapists to find out more about occupational therapy in order to help you prepare for your interview.

Your interview will take place online and will be 20 minutes. You will be interviewed by two people. One will be a member of our physiotherapy teaching team, plus one more person who could be a physiotherapist from a local NHS Trust, a service-user, a current physiotherapy student, or another member of our teaching team.

Our interviews are based on the NHS values.

You can prepare for your interview by researching the NHS values, thinking of how you have demonstrated these values in your life, or how you could apply these values as a student physiotherapist.

The format of the interview will include:

• a 20-minute face-to-face interview with two divisional staff members
• a tour of facilities
• a team activity

The format will combine a group interview, an individual aptitude task, and a group-based task.

The group activity is a practical task. You are advised to wear appropriate smart clothing which you can comfortably manoeuvre in.

The format of the interview will be:

• A course welcome talk
• Team-Based Learning taster - an introduction to our innovative and enjoyable approach to teaching pharmacy
• Interviews
• A tour of facilities with current pharmacy students
• A summary of what happens on our 4-and-5-year Bradford MPharm programmes

The format of the interview will be:

• A course presentation
• Laboratory practicals - a chance to get hands-on in our biomedical science labs and our state-of-the-art anatomy simulation suite
• Interviews

The interview will be conducted face-to-face.

The questions will cover:

• Your understanding of the roles and responsibilities of social workers, and your own current knowledge and skills
• Your personal motivations
• Your personal values and awareness of discrimination and oppression
• Your awareness of pressures placed on social workers and social work students, and your own resilience when handling difficult situations
