The Bradford Researcher Development Framework (BRDF)
- formerly the PGR Framework
We look forward to you joining Bradford as a new member of our research community. Every research journey is unique and the BRDF team is here to support you.
The BRDF is designed to support your development as a researcher and is mapped to the UK’s national Researcher Development Framework. BRDF runs training sessions, development opportunities, e-learning modules and research events open to PGRs and staff researchers.
You can find more information on our internal SharePoint site (login required) and by contacting the BRDF team. Once you’ve enrolled as a PGR at Bradford, you will receive weekly newsletters via email and will be able to book onto training sessions.
Development Needs Analysis (formerly 'TNA')
The DNA is a self-reflection activity that captures your skills, evidence, and your development needs. It supports you and your supervisory team in setting actions and making sure your needs are met.
Guidance and the DNA form for current PGRs and supervisors can now be found on the DNA SharePoint page (login required).
