Dr Izram Chaudry is a Lecturer in Criminology and Sociology at the University of Bradford. His PhD was: 'Reflexive BrAsian Family Practices: Boxers' Understanding of Parental Influence'. Based on his PhD thesis, Izram is currently writing a research monograph provisionally entitled: 'Beyond the Boxing Ropes: BrAsian Family Practices and Reflexivity'.
This is due to be submitted for publication in 2024 to feature in the 'Advances in Sociology' book series by Routledge.Izram has teaching and research interests/ expertise in racism and ethnicity studies, Islamophobia, Critical Muslim Studies, relational sociology (education, family, community, sport) and qualitative methodology.
