Professor Christoph Bluth

Expertise: International security, nuclear weapons policies, weapons of mass destruction.
Professor Bluth's research interests are in nuclear weapons policies and the prevention of the spread of weapons of mass destruction and Cold War history.
His regional expertise cover Russia, Pakistan, Iraq, Germany and north east Asia, especially Korea.
His comments have been published in The i, The Week, Yahoo!, Asia Times,
Prior to coming to the University of Bradford, he was Professor of International and European Studies at the University of Reading and subsequently Professor of International Studies at the University of Leeds, where he was involved in an initiative on terrorism.
While at King's College London, he worked with Sir Lawrence Freedman and Robert O'Neill on the four-nation Nuclear History Programme, before taking up a lectureship in International Relations at the University of Essex.
