Dr Kamran Mahroof is an Associate Professor in Supply Chain Analytics and the Programme Leader for the MSc in Applied Artificial Intelligence and Data Analytics. He has extensive industry experience, having worked in various roles for leading organisations, most recently for Morrisons Plc, where he led various productivity initiatives in Logistics. His research areas cover Supply Chain Management, Circular Economy, Artificial Intelligence (AI) and the Societal Impact of Emerging Technologies.

He regularly publishes in peer-reviewed journals such as the International Journal of Production Economics, Journal of Business Research and Information Systems Frontiers.

Dr Mahroof has regularly appeared on national television, radio and media publications, talking about issues such as supply chain disruptions, food waste and “dark kitchens”. He has also written for renowned publications including for the World Economic Forum.
