Bradford's Executive MBA surges up international rankings
The University of Bradford’s Executive MBA in Dubai has been ranked 23rd in the world - up from 47th last year and 59th in 2022 - by CEO Magazine.
The CEO Global EMBA 2024 ranking further cements the university’s position as one of the best MBA providers on the global stage.
CEO Magazine also ranked its online MBA as 26th (out of 92) in the world, and earlier this month, the Financial Times ranked it best in the world for value for money and its teaching dedicated to ethics and climate solutions.
Commenting on the CEO Magazine ranking for its Executive MBA in Dubai, Dr Nick Snowden, Director of MBA, said: “MBAs enable people already in employment to learn new skills so they can achieve their career goals. We work closely with businesses to ensure our MBAs deliver skills that are desired by industry. This latest ranking success shows we continue to provide some of the best MBAs in the world, which in turn benefits both people and industry.”
Professor Sankar Sivarajah, Dean of the School of Management, said: “Our School of Management continues to excel in our 60th anniversary year. The Executive MBA ranking is an achievement all our staff, students, alumni and partners should be rightly proud of, especially given the strength of competition. This is yet another example of the University of Bradford punching above its weight on the global stage.”
Bradford has been an established brand in Dubai since 1998 and was one of the first MBA programmes to establish a presence in the country. Its state-of-the-art facilities are based at Dubai Knowledge Park, with options to study in Bradford, Toulouse (one module) and online through distance learning. It aims to provide strategic, financial and people skills needed to progress and perform effectively at senior levels.
The School of Management is part of an elite group of business schools to hold the triple accreditations of Equis, AMBA and AACSB, often referred to as the "triple-crown".
About the ranking
CEO Magazine has been showcasing top business schools from around the globe since it first launched in 2008. In 2012 the publication launched its annual Global MBA Rankings, profiling MBA, Executive MBA and Online MBA programmes. This year participation is up 13%, as CEO Magazine ranked 139 schools, offering 284 different programmes (92 online, 69 EMBA and 123 full-time and part-time MBA programmes) in 24 countries. The growth in the number of schools offering online MBAs was most noticeable, with 16 new programmes entering the rankings.
The rankings are created by comparing various metrics including class size, tuition fees, professional development and accreditation by professional bodies.
