The Ridge named Yorkshire GP Practice of the Year
The Ridge Medical Centre - the delivery practice of the University of Bradford's Practitioners with Special Interest Master's programme, has been named Yorkshire GP Practice of the Year by the Royal College of General Practitioners.
The award takes into account:
- the care the practice provides to its patients
- initiatives it has been involved in
- the pioneering work it is doing with the CCG and cancer research
- the training of undergraduate and postgraduate students, to safeguard the future workforce of the NHS
The Ridge has three surgeries in Bradford. The practice provides training to Master's students on the University's Practitioners with Special Interest programme.
