University of Bradford in UK awards success
The University of Bradford scooped three prizes at this year's HEIST awards, which brought HE providers from across the UK together.
The HEIST awards recognise excellence in education marketing and the University came out top against competitive shortlists in the following categories:
- Best Use of Innovation in Education Marketing, where a bronze was awarded for the Don’t go to Bradford video
- Best International Initiative, with the UK-China Accelerated Enterprise Programme walking away with a gold, and
- Best Community/Business Engagement Campaign, where our involvement with the Bradford Literature Festival was recognised with a gold award
Strictly Come Dancing’s Anton Du Beke presented the awards at a ceremony in Manchester.
Director of External Affairs Mark Garratt said: “I’m very proud to be bringing three awards back to Bradford and for the light they shine on the hard work of the teams involved. In the last 10 years we have only won one award, so getting three in one night is quite spectacular.”
