Japan's largest chemical company at the University of Bradford

Following a successful history of research collaboration with Shin-Etsu over the past 5 years the University of Bradford’s Centre for Pharmaceutical Engineering Science are looking forward to welcoming a global delegation of Shin-Etsu’s corporate clients on 13 - 14 June.

The two day event is focused on techniques and excipients that enhance the solubility of poorly soluble drugs. The seminar will include presentations from University of Bradford staff and their research partners on excipients to enhance solubility and processing and characterisation of solid dispersion formulations. Delegates will also see demonstrations of the University’s cutting-edge formulation and analytical equipment including injection moulding, hot melt extrusion, spray dying and capillary rheometry.

As part of their social programme, delegates will also get to experience some of the amazing cultural and historical aspects of Yorkshire, including a ride on the Keighley and Worth Valley Railway.
