Graduate named in Top 50 Influential Women in Engineering 2016

School of Engineering Graduate, Ailie MacAdam has been named on the Women’s Engineering Society (WES) Top 50 Influential Women in Engineering List 2016.

Ailie MacAdam, a Graduate from the University of Bradford has been named in the list created for National Women in Engineering Day, compiled by the Daily Telegraph in collaboration with WES featuring the UK’s top influential female engineers chosen from almost 900 nominations.

A Chartered Member of the Institution of Chemical Engineers (IChemE), Ailie is also a Fellow of the Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE). Forging a successful career path working in infrastructure, she has worked on major industrial projects, including St Pancras station renovation and the Channel Tunnel Rail Link 'High Speed 1'. She is now the managing director of infrastructure, Africa and Europe at Bechtel.
