Cecilia Anim re-elected as RCN President
University of Bradford Honorary Graduate, Cecilia Anim, has been re-elected as President of the Royal College of Nursing. Cecilia, who was elected also in 2014, will continue in her role for a second term until 2018.
Cecilia, a sexual health nurse from North London, was awarded an Honorary Doctorate of Health by the University of Bradford in July 2016 for services to nursing. She thanked RCN members who had voted and supported her, and said she was committed to serving the interests of nursing for a further two years.
Cecilia said: “I’m deeply honoured to have been elected to serve a second term in this prestigious role".
