Building overseas networks for new Physician Associate Studies programme
On Friday 22nd July Dr Sertip Zangana and Dr Anna Snelling from the School of Medical Sciences hosted a visit from Professor Jennifer Hixon, Chair of Health Sciences and Founding Programme Director of the Physician Assistant programme at Westfield State University, Massachusetts USA.
The visit was organised by who is establishing the Physician Associate Studies programme at the University of Bradford.
Professor Hixon toured our state-of-the-art Clinical Skills and Simulation Suites, Physiotherapy and Sports Rehabilitation Clinic, iStan Patient Simulator, Anatomy and Pathology Resource Centre, Biomedical Sciences Laboratories, Biological Anthropology Research Centre and 3-D printing facilities spread across our Faculty of Life Sciences and Faculty of Health Studies.
She was impressed with our technology-focused, environmentally friendly and community-based values and ethos.
