Bradford triumphs at Annual Tribal Conference
The University of Bradford came out on top at the Tribal Annual Conference Awards Dinner, winning the University of the Year for work undertaken on the SITS:Vision student record system.
The Bradford team were highlighted at the awards dinner on 12 July, for the impressive amount of improvements they have made on the student record system over the past three years.
The Tribal judges commented: “This year has been a very busy one for this institution! We received many nominations for various projects undertaken this year alone - in fact enough to fill all the award categories. Some of the fantastic work they have done includes a Specific Learning Difficulties Screening Questionnaire and an electronic Learner Support Profile (e-LSP). The impacts of these projects will have tremendous reach in supporting students for many years to come”.
Further work by the team include the streamlining and improvements to business efficiency which includes the enrolment and IT account creation process, the integration of SITS Document Manager, the re-provisioning of e:Vision and role group access and the use of StuTalk to integrate the student records system with the Azorus CRM.
Nikki Piece, Director of Student and Academic Services at the University, said: “To win ‘University of the Year’ is a reflection of the hard work, passion and drive of the team to maximise the efficiency and effectiveness of our student record system.
“The changes we have implemented are a real game changer in both the recruitment of students and the student admission process, and it’s fantastic that we’ve been seen as a source of best practice amongst fellow SITS:Vision users.”
Further improvements will continue over the coming months which will improve the student experience.
