Bradford Environmental Science Class of 1983 Reunion
Members of the University of Bradford BSc Environmental Sciences class of 1983 attended a 22 year reunion on Sunday 30 August 2015.
After months of anticipation the event more than lived up to expectations. A great day with plenty of memories and laughs. There were 16 members that attended in addition to some partners and children. Another seven who couldn’t make it, were in touch and sent their best wishes. There’s a chance that the group shall have another reunion event next year so it’s not too late for anyone who wasn't able to be contacted to get in touch. Please email [email protected] to get in touch with the group.
The event was held in Leighton Buzzard, Bedfordshire at the home of Tim Alberry, one of the group. "We began at 2:00 pm and went through to midnight", said Ian Bowes. "Everyone brought a contribution to a buffet meal. It was very informal with people chatting and catching up after many years. Many of the group contributed photographs from our time at Bradford, compiled into a show which was watched together in the evening, our younger selves providing a great deal of amusement. The event was so successful that we’re planning to do it again within the next two years."
