Yousra's story
Yousra Mishmish is a dedicated Social Impact Activist, Youth Learning Facilitator, and Sustainable Development Consultant with over 8 years of experience in translating local community needs into international development programs. She specializes in social entrepreneurship, technologies, and dialogue within underprivileged and marginalised communities. She has led five peacemaking projects addressing issues such as gender-based violence, social discrimination, bullying, and limited opportunities, and has delivered over 45 youth-targeted training sessions in 11 countries.
Yousra has also supported start-ups, social enterprises, and SMEs through incubation programs in the MENA region’s largest innovation hubs, helping over 55 impact-driven teams accelerate their growth. She served as Regional Manager for Peace First, overseeing operations in the MENA region and managing a network of over 2000+ grantees, 30+ ambassadors, and 55+ partner organizations. Currently, Yousra is a member of the UN Office of Counter-Terrorism Youth Unit, contributing to the design of international peace-focused youth programs and materials.
