Precious is a policy and research professional with over five years of experience in both the
non-profit and private sectors across Africa. Her expertise lies in sustainable resource
governance and peacebuilding within Africa’s energy and extractive industries.

She has worked with organisations such as the Africa Centre for Energy Policy (ACEP), a
Ghana-based institution where she played a key role in producing high-quality research on
the complex governance challenges in Africa's energy and extractive sectors. During her
time at ACEP, Precious was instrumental in the development of a community-based
monitoring and reporting framework for the Ewoyaa Community, home to Ghana’s first
lithium mining site. This framework serves as a guide for community members to actively
monitor and report the project's impacts, document environmental and social issues, identify potential conflicts at an early stage, and provide mechanisms for addressing these issues before they escalate.

Her legal background compliments her policy expertise, equipping her with the skills to
adeptly navigate the regulatory frameworks that govern the energy and extractive industries. Precious is driven by a deep commitment to advancing policies and practices that promote environmental justice, sustainable resource utilisation, and peaceful coexistence in communities affected by climate change and extractive activities.
