About the MBA

Designed for busy working professionals, our MBAs offer:

  • core and optional modules
  • multiple start dates
  • a weekend study option
  • the option to study at our Dubai campus or from anywhere in the world through distance learning

The course content is designed with input from industry advisors, including senior figures from the NHS Foundation Trust, Prince Lionheart, Bank of America, WWF, and Santander.

Core modules provide a solid base of management knowledge. Optional modules allow you to tailor aspects of the Executive MBA in Dubai and Distance Learning MBA to suit your career aspirations.

The management project involves an in-depth study into a business area of your choice.

Our MBA programmes integrate responsible business practices, social inclusion, sustainability and the 'three Ps': Profit; People; Planet, into the curriculum. This reflects our ethos of 'doing well by doing good'.

You'll be equiped to make strategic decisions that consider the impact on all stakeholders. This unique focus sets the Bradford MBA apart from traditional programmes and prepares you to become a future-focused business leader who can drive positive change.

You can also specialise in a new, rapidly growing career area with our unique Innovation, Enterprise and Circular Economy MBA. This new economic model aims to use resources more effectively, reuse products and materials, and deliver increased profit. Or, you may choose to study one of our new 'Digital Economy', 'Sustainability' or 'Innovation and Entrepreneurship' module clusters.

Who is an MBA for?

Business Owners and entrepreneurs

An MBA will give you a formal business education.

You may have industry knowledge but lack formal business education. An MBA can be a game changer and can provide you with a structured approach to business management, allowing you to refine your strategic vision and operational efficiency. It could help you expand your brand and open doors to new business opportunities and investor networks.

It could also equip you with the financial acumen, marketing strategies, and leadership skills necessary to make data-driven decisions to scale up the business and compete with larger businesses.

Mid-Career Managers and Executives

An MBA is an investment and can help you fast-track your next step.

Studying an MBA can help broaden your global business perspective which could help you secure a place on the board. During your programme, you can enhance your strategic thinking skills, financial acumen and decision-making abilities.

It can also equip you with the tools to lead larger and more complex organisations, drive sustainable growth, as well as navigate the challenges of a rapidly changing business landscape.

Consultants

An MBA can broaden your business knowledge and enhance your ability to analyse complex business problems.

It can also improve your communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to build stronger client relationships.

You could broaden your knowledge of strategy, finance, marketing and operations. This would allow you to offer more holistic solutions to clients, deliver greater value and position yourself as a trusted advisor.

Change makers

The Innovation, Enterprise and Circular Economy MBA is for students who want to challenge the ‘Business as Usual’ approach. This applies to production and consumption, and learning innovative ways of value creation that positively impact society and our planet.

You will develop a broad knowledge of the core functional disciplines of managing people, finance, decision-making and marketing - cores that are critical to leadership at a senior level. You can also focus your studies around a specialist interest in sustainability and circular economy.

The flexibility of the course allowed me to balance study with work and family life. I've got a big family, demanding job commitments, and I also like to travel, but I found that I didn't need to compromise any of that.
