Artificial Intelligence (AI) has proliferated in recent years, with significant implications for businesses, society and the environment. As companies and organisations seek to innovate and adapt to a changing landscape, it is critical to comprehend the implications of AI, potential opportunities and challenges they present.
On Friday 17 May 2024, the Business Analytics, Circular Economy and Entrepreneurship (BACE) department at the School of Management, will be hosting the second AI Forum. The forum aims to explore these issues and promote dialogue between academia and industry.
The AI Forum will bring together academic, developers, and users communities in order to exchange ideas and bust unnecessary myths about the importance and challenges of AI. The forum aims to link cutting-edge theories with current practices and establish valuable collaborations between academia and industry.
Building on last year's great success, this year's forum is entitled "Frontiers of AI Applications", involving the following three themes;
To continue the annual tradition, the forum will be attended by various national and international friends of the University of Bradford including local authorities, SMEs and our alumni.

Industry partners are invited to showcase their ongoing research and technological advancements in AI. This will allow attendees to learn from experienced professionals and experts who have experience in the industry.

Attendees can expect to gain insights into Artificial Intelligence's latest advancements and best practices, learn from experienced professionals and experts, and develop strategies for integrating AI into their businesses or practices. In addition, the forum will feature discussions on AI's ethical and social implicaitons
Overall, the forum seeks to foster innovation and best practices in this rapidly evolving field by providing a collaborative environment for professionals from academia and industry to explore the future of business in the era of AI.
The forum also aims to be a facilitator for discussion and networking opportunities which can assist attendees in building valuable relationships. These opportunities will enable attendees to gain exposure to new ideas and opportunities through the sessions delivering and networking opportunities.
The forum welcomes business leaders, industry partners, faculty staff and students to participate.
The Forum will comprise of a range of specially selected speakers and networking opportunities where you get the opportunity to explore research and industry advancements throughout the day.
Throughout the day, we will be delivering 3 panels where facilitators for the sessions will deliver short presentations surrounding key topics in the world of AI. Following the short presentations, there will be a panel discussion comprising of industry experts and academics surrounding the topic of the track.

By incorporating student poster presentations, the forum not only enriches the academic atmosphere but also nurtures the growth of the next generation of AI researchers.
