Papers of Richard Taylor
Archive reference: Cwl DT
This Commonweal Archive consists of the research notes and material used by Dr (now Professor) Richard Taylor in writing his PhD. thesis “The British nuclear disarmament movement of 1958 to 1965 and its legacy to the left” (University of Leeds, 1983). Dr Taylor based his thesis on the archives of the National Council for the Abolition of Nuclear Weapons Tests, the Direct Action Committee Against Nuclear War, the Committee of 100 and the Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament and on interviews with key figures in the movement.
The Archive was catalogued as part of the PaxCat Project, with support from the National Cataloguing Grants Programme for Archives.
