The Yorkshire Innovation in Science and Engineering Conference (YISEC) will be held at the University of Bradford campus on 15-16 June 2023.
The Yorkshire Innovation in Science and Engineering Conference (YISEC) aims to provide postgraduate students with a cross-functional platform to address critical issues and innovative solutions through practical discussions. A strong consortium of Yorkshire Universities will be organising the conference.
The consortium comprises four institutions:
The conference aims to have the following format, although some changes might occur based on suggestions made by the Organising Committee.
It is planned to include a full day, with sessions at the University of Bradford campus:
YISEC aims to provide postgraduate students with a cross-functional platform to address critical issues and innovative solutions through practical discussions. It provides an opportunity for Master's and PhD students to showcase their research and to receive feedback on their new research ideas or results in an early stage of investigation.
The conference will display innovative research conducted by doctoral researchers across all institutions. All graduate students are highly encouraged to participate and present their research and results.
The topics list is not exhaustive. This is an excellent opportunity for doctoral researchers to develop clear and confident communication skills that are critically important when presenting work in academia or industry.
The deadline for full-length paper submission to the Yorkshire Innovation in Science and Engineering Conference (YISEC 2023) is 21 April 2023.
