(PRIDE)

Overview

Professor Gail Mountain was co-applicant on the NIHR/ESRC funded Promoting Independence in Dementia (PRIDE) research programme. The study was led by Professor Martin Orrell, University of Nottingham from 2015-2020 (£2,931,365).

The programme involved collaborations across UK universities as well as with Europe and Brazil. The project was comprised of five workpackages. Gail Mountain participated in a workpackage to create and feasibility test the PRIDE intervention, a brief self management programme for people with mild dementia.
