Dr. Andrew Tedder
Associate Professor
MSc
Suitable for applications.
The course allowed me to plan my programme to match my interests and experience, in combination with a diverse range of optional research modules. It gave me the confidence to explore new study areas and take responsibility for my own learning, and yet develop an extra level of knowledge and skills. There has been the added benefit of working in a research-focused environment in labs, which are very modern and offer outstanding facilities.
A wide variety of teaching methods, appropriate to the learning outcomes of the individual modules, are employed throughout the programme, and are supported by formative assessment.
The teaching methods progressively focus on student-centred approaches to learning, thus you will be expected to take increasing responsibility for your own learning as you progress through the programme.
In this way you are expected to develop the attributes needed for life-long learning and continued professional development.
