Legal services & compliance
The University’s in-house legal office provides support for the University by advising on legal issues. This includes a broad range of subjects including:
- regulatory matters,
- mediation,
- litigation,
- contracts,
- commercial and property transaction,
- international agreements and
- company matters.
We also work with colleagues within the Legal and Governance Department on charitable and corporate governance matters, drafting policies and ordinances and regulations, and legal issues arising in student disciplinary and fitness to practise matters.
When more specialist services are required, the University’ s in-house legal office liaises with an external legal services provider firm.
