Brad-iCOUNT
The Brad-iCOUNT initiative includes a module and a leadership development programme.
The leadership development programme is a bespoke initiative to take positive action to address the under-representation of women and ethnic minority staff in leadership positions, currently only running in the Faculty of Life Sciences.
The module is developed for all students as part of their orientation programme.

Cultural understanding in leadership & management (CULM)
CULM is an organisational development programme which aims to enhance the diversity competence of leaders and management at the University.
It offers individual senior managers the opportunity to learn more about the world view of members of staff whose background is different to their own.
Learning partnership programme
The learning partnership programme partners University staff with students to learn about world views different from their own.
Members of minority groups often find it more difficult to establish the kind of relationship with senior and middle managers that leads to a mutual understanding. This programme aims to address this imbalance by creating partnerships that are based on shared values, understanding and growth.
